“Not me, but this podcast.
I heard about this podcast from the NoSleep podcast and, having seen a few things about this SCP stuff recently I subscribed before the first episode.
Now there are 3 episodes I think and from the first one I had some thoughts.
Now to be fair this is a very fledgling production, and seems like it hasn’t found its footing. Hence why I say it’s confused.
To my knowledge the SCP foundation is meant to be some sort of paramilitary/research and containment type of organization, correct? So I find it hard to appreciate the unprofessional characters. It seems very out of place given the nature of the the foundation, as I understand it. It goes from minute data and detail narration to characters that seem like random people off the street amongst some half hearted scientist type characters. I think there needs to be a decision as to whether this will be a serious podcast or a comedic one or equal parts both.
I don’t know about the resources or abilities of the cast and crew, maybe it’ll just take a while to really flesh out, and I will be patient because I want this to succeed. But so far, early on for sure, I’m unimpressed. But good luck guys I wish this project well.
Edit: alrighty, you got me. I’m genuinely impressed, already. 1981 and 231 literally creeped me out and disturbed me. I listen to No Sleep and those two episodes creeped me out more than half of the No Sleep episodes do. *golf clap* And I’m not even sure what the heck this is supposed to be still, but I like the direction it seems to have taken. going from 3 to 5 stars. Keep it up guys.
