Too much personal ideology woven in
I listened to the pilot with every intention of subscribing to a factual, objective history podcast. I became extremely disappointed by the host’s 3rd or 4th denigration of “Rich white guys,” “pasty white faces,” and other ignorant stereotypes. I’m not signing up for any more and definitely wont recommend. Another perfect example of liberal, academics’inability to leave their own biases out of their historical narratives.

This is a surprisingly interesting look at a decade that is fairly obscure today, despite the big figures in it (like Napoleon for starters).
