“Concerning the ‘rude’ captain who showed up on time, but was cutting it close and was on the phone. She absolutely should’ve shown you the respect of being on time, or at least apologizing for it, and not be preoccupied while being on the phone. How difficult is it to say “please hold on for a second,” and say so?
Now her coming for the court prepared, with a $2 measuring tape from Home Depot or Lowe’s and knowing what the length of the net should be at the center strap, and the posts (an assumption on my part). That’s just being a good captain. You shouldn’t have your nose out of joint about that, but take it as a nudge to review the rules again and maybe stop at Lowe’s or Home Depot for a few $2 measuring tapes. However, rude or annoying the message was sent.
Also I urge you to ask Rebel, or any other competent official to demonstrate how to properly and efficiently adjust the center strap.”
