While not always obvious, the invisible hand of policy is ever-present, shaping our lives, and impacting our health. Much of a nation’s most significant disparities and inequities are rooted in policy decisions that, intentionally or unintentionally, limit access to healthcare, education, transportation, nutrition, childcare and more. The good news: Policy is also one of the most impactful avenues for driving progress toward the health and wellbeing of every citizen.
