You know what? Sometimes our brains can be jerks. Yes, I said it. Sometimes they just are. They are wired to keep us in comfort and familiarity. They don't like it when we decide that we want to change. I heard a great analogy today that really hit home for me when it comes to why I struggle to make lasting change in my life. I've gotten so much better at staying committed to my goals, but still find myself struggling way too much (in my opinion ;) Anyway, this analogy really opened my eyes as to why and I wanted to share it with you so maybe it'll help shed some light for you as well!
