Was a big fan of the WLFC blog but…
I was so excited for this podcast after reading the WLFC blog. Alyssa has a beautiful way with the written word and tied the juicy stories of her life into her own introspection and deeper meaning that had wider appeal. I was hoping the podcast would be more of the same! Unfortunately, each episode felt like listening to someone talk who was overly full of themselves and just wanted to hear their own voice. They could have been cut in half without losing any meaning or depth. Agree with the other reviews too that I’m not surprised this was discontinued after just a few episodes as she’s had many quickly-abandoned ventures over the past year. As an example, I unsubscribed as a paying member of the blog because what was supposed to be weekly posts quickly became inconsistent and it was annoying to be paying for one post per month, if that. Hoping Alyssa finds something she can stick with and grow into rather than coming off as searching for that quick hit of validation or easy $ because I do believe she has good ideas to share with the world.

This is honestly one of my favorite podcasts. Alyssa is phenomenal and I feel like I pretty much hang on her every word! She chooses great people to interview and I've learned a ton from listening. So happy this is available on iTunes! ❤❤❤Read full review »
