Dismissive of trauma
Listened to the episode regarding Paris. As a participant in the documentary, I’m disgusted and appalled at how the trauma that comes from the troubled teen industry is dismissed. Disclosing the trauma and shame is terrifying and overwhelming. Admitting that this happened is hard enough. We have carried this shame for decades, convinced there is something wrong with us- that we deserved it. Go easy on her.
