“As the title of my review states, in a world of many, many film podcasts, Sequel Pitch is something different and sort of brilliant that stands out from the crowd. Drew Toynbee and co. pick a film that hasn’t had a sequel, or which has a sequel with an as-yet-unannounced storyline/setting, review the original work and then take it in turns to pitch a sequel in a gamified challenge format. Funny, friendly, and sometimes actually genuinely inspired, the pitches the guys come up with are never anything less than good for thought. The guys’ love for film is evident, their friendship makes listening a treat, and the format is something fresh in a crowded market. Top keck!”
