“The podcast probably would be great, BUT I made it through 5 minutes of episode 2 and had to turn it off. All they talked about was a juice cleanse and the moodiness of doing a cleanse for a day. Well duh…. The body is starving and hyper-focusing on survival (aka food). Why are we glorifying starving the body? And a juice cleanse does nothing beneficial for the body, so it could be spreading misinformation. This could be an incredible trigger for someone with an eating disorder, especially if early in recovery. Was excited for a new comedy podcast but was so annoyed by diet culture.”
