I just returned from a revival meeting at Gangreung Church where I preached the Word of Truth found in Mark chapters 1 and 2. The core message of this Word of Truth is that our Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the Creator who made all things in the universe, and He is our Savior. And we were able to be washed clean from all our sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit that this Creator has given us. Therefore, if anyone believes in Jesus without understanding that He is the Creator who made the heavens and the earth, and the Savior who came to this earth to deliver us from the sins of the world through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, then this person’s faith is in vain. In other words, if we believe in Jesus without even realizing that He is our God and our Savior, our faith will be completely useless. We must believe that our Lord Jesus has saved us from all our sins. However, there still are many people who have not encountered the gospel of the water and the Spirit that constitutes the righteousness of Jesus, and all these people are yet to be delivered from their sins. Although it is important for them to believe in Jesus as their Savior, this faith must also be accompanied by the realization that Jesus is God Himself.
