11. Is It Beneficial For God’s Church To Have Judges? (Judges 3:7-14)
Listen now
Description
Let me begin by summarizing the gist of today’s Scripture reading: The people of Israel were practicing wickedness in the sight of the Lord God. They were worshipping the Baals and Asherahs. So God sold them into the hand of a foreign king named Cushan-Rishathaim, and the children of Israel served this king for eight years. When the people of Israel cried out to the Lord from their suffering of slavery, the Lord raised a deliverer to free them, a judge named Othhniel. He was the leader of the people of Israel. Having raised him to be the leader of Israel, God worked through Othniel and enabled him to defeat King Cushan-Rishathaim. After prevailing in this war, Israel was then peaceful and prosperous for forty years.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35
