A generous conversationalist
I have always admired Alan and in this series, his skill as a conversationalist is completely engaging. It’s quite an art when speaking to others, to resist the temptation to interrupt the other person’s response or flow. I’m a big fan of Walton Goggins and hoped I wouldn’t be disappointed. I needn’t have worried, he is charming and generous of spirit. The time flew by - I could have listened for longer.

More reviews of Seven Pillars with Alan Davies
Early days in the podcast I know, but Alan’s sensitive and fascinating interviews have got me hooked. It’s on my ‘must listen’ list. Highly recommended!

Whether it’s QI, The Tuesday Club, As Yet Untitled, Stand Up, etc, Alan just makes me laugh and this latest offering is no different. A very, very, very funny man.

Usually these type of podcasts are either under researched or the presenter is a sycophant ,these are neither. The guests are very eclectic ranging from indie music loving ex footballer Pat Nevin to the fascinating Jay Parini. Highly recommended.
