Fascinating
Hi guys! I’ve really got into your podcasts since starting agility with my working cocker pup “pops”. She is a 14 month old and we are both totally new to agility and she is really my first proper dog of my own. I started puppy classes and have become slightly obsessed with learning about dog behaviour and really want to give my dog the best life! I love her to pieces more than I could of ever imagined to be honest! Super randomly we had been watching re runs of location location location and saw the episode with Lauren, however I had no idea at the time that you were “Lauren and blink” until I saw episodes of Crufts on you tube and the penny dropped. Pops isn’t quite in blinks league but her drive to play games or do anything for food is high - and so I am really interested in new games to play so she doesn’t get bored! At the moment her weaknesses are dropping something she knows she shouldn’t have (always at the time I don’t have any rewards on me!), jumping up against the kitchen units and pulling on the lead. She can heel for food, but if I don’t have rewards there is no desire to heel with me 😩 shes a super clever dog, but obviously I’m not doing something correctly or consistently....I sometimes wonder if I’ve actually taught her to do the bad behaviour to then do the correct one when asked for a reward, rather than just not doing the unwanted behaviour (if that makes sense!) I would love to hear a podcast to discuss these things 😃

Just setting out on my dog training career, have had some horrible advice from trainers about how to train my Border Collie and been told he’s untrainable 🙄. I love Lauren and Tom’s passion for dog training and the way they make it so sparkly and fun. I’ve now got some insights into what makes my...Read full review »

The Information you shared was excellent. I just wish you would spend less time interrupting each other and bantering and more time sharing relevant information.
