“What is pumped as being an experiment in exploring podcast ip potential and the value of industry insight consulting turns out to be a demonstration of good old fashioned creative corporate ptsd and burnout. Whomst amongst us under-appreciated try-hard personalities has not dangled a hyper specific carrot in front of our own noses to get us through the longest darkest nights? What happened here is the self-choosing subject did not actually want the particular carrot they picked for themself after all (no, I’m not talking about the house, you’ll have to listen clear through to find out what I mean). So could not follow through with the show’s promise to test out all the (bad) (grifty) advice being sold around the podcast and startup marketplace to expose it for what it’s actually worth. We do have a dollar amount in the end $16,000 ish in the hole if I remember right (would have been about double that if not for some hard earned personal goodwill). And some spoofy music.”
