Upset to have to write this
It’s a decent podcast if you’re after some light, not too in-depth or critical info on pop culture and scandals. Probably great if you’re late teens/early 20’s. I’ve on and off listened for years, but ultimately feel I’ve outgrown the podcast as a 27 year old and that my feminism has surpassed what the podcast is able to offer - that’s fine, it’s not their brand. If you’re a young feminist and you love the podcast, I’d urge you to compliment your listening with some more in-depth and critical resources too. Ultimately, I stopped listening all-together after the incredibly disrespectful series on Prince Andrew. I felt it was an utter slap in the face to survivors of child abuse, to have the two hosts giggling and laughing about an alleged pedophile. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and the inability of the hosts to engage in thoughtful discourse around how utterly inappropriate the tone was, was honestly disappointing. I also find the ongoing justification of putting an Acknowledgment of Country at the very end of the episodes so as not to upset anyone very weak - perhaps this doesn’t happen anymore, I don’t listen.

Well done Michelle and Zara on an amazing podcast. I absolutely love listening each week. The conversations are enlightening & engaging and it’s refreshing to hear that you’re not afraid to shy away from asking the difficult questions or debating topics from a place of intellect and knowledge.
