“I happened upon this podcast on a search for bettering my understanding of positive puppy training. I absolutely loved it and found it not only extremely useful for training my high energy dalmatian pup, but also really entertaining and laugh out loud funny.
So much so, that when I got to the end of my Shaped by Dog binge and was impatiently waiting for the next instalment I thought why not start from the beginning again?!!
Susan Garrett- I was on my dog walk tonight literally thanking you out loud as Sunny and I add another “layer” to our deeply bonded relationship.
(I was also saying, “on my seam, in your mouth…” as we walked in the middle of the road to avoid him pulling towards his massive reinforcement of peeing on EVERYTHING - he’s only 8 months and is flexing his hormones I think)
Thanks for helping me get it, finally. After successfully training 3 (award winning) previous Dalmatians with the 1990s “mixed” approach of corrections and praise I’m hoping for bigger adventures and even more freedom with this boy.
