“I really wanted to like this show as a female theologian who enjoys learning about all different facets of the Christian faith. My issue with it isn’t that I disagree (though I do on many things); my issue is that there are a lot of Biblical interpretations and opinions presented as fact. There are a lot of unbiblical opinions presented as fact, (“most men look for the men they can beat up when they enter the room” is not accurate, nor would that be considered Christ-like, so why mention it to prove complementarianism?) as well. There is also a lot of insulting other denominations and viewpoints and putting other Christian women down. I love “Cultish,” and that’s where I heard of these ladies, but this definitely ain’t that. This makes female seminarians out to be catty and cliquish and elitist. I wanted something to present multiple viewpoints to new Christian women, including reformed and renewed, but this isn’t a good example for young Christian women trying to figure out what they believe. Why can’t we tell our beliefs without putting each other down?”
