Surprisingly anti-science?
Only listened to the vaping episode, and I’m disappointed in the lack of actual science in this podcast. Even more disappointing- the show used the “appeal to nature” fallacy (flavors aren’t made with actual fruit, therefore they must be bad) and propagated the “scary chemicals” rhetoric. I wanted to understand what the evidence shows wrt vaping and I came away worried that is is just going to be another “pop science” podcast that hurts rather than helps the public’s understanding of science.

Maddie is a great host! She’s charming, smart and super funny. I also love the audio engineering work here. The science coverage is solid, and It’s clear that the folks making the pod are profesh. Can’t wait to hear more.
