The science behind wildlife photography
Listen now
Description
In today's episode Laura El-Tantawy sits down for a fascinating and in-depth discussion with Norwegian wildlife photographer, Canon Ambassador and scientist Audun Rikardsen. Audun's incredible work presents beautiful and original images of wildlife that sometimes have the air of the impossible about them, often captured on split-levels or strange angles. He shoots with Canon EOS R-series cameras and builds his own custom equipment to help capture the shots in exactly the way he imagined them. Laura asks Audun how his scientific background gives him an advantage as a wildlife photographer, quizzes him about the kit he uses and makes and finds out all about the enviable adventures photographing whales and other Arctic animals. It’s a unique one-on-one glimpse into the life and work of this brilliant photographer.
