Dr. Rajalakshmi is an orthodontist who teaches and practices in Bangalore India. When she was 21 years old, Dr. Rajalakshmi met with a road accident resulting in a spinal cord injury that left her paralysed waist-down. The incident would have been crippling to most people. It only made Dr. Rajalakshmi even more determined to fulfil all the goals she had before disability struck. She went on to complete her BDS and MDS in Orthodontics (with a university gold medal).
