“This podcast nails it when it comes to tone, pacing, and creativity. I find myself clearly picturing the scenes as Matt and Chris play them and getting the same feelings the movies give me at their best. The way they describe the results of their rolls, as well as pretty impressive voice acting, gives the series a very cinematic feel. I’ve laughed and cheered out loud listening to this podcast.
It’s not overly bogged down with rules, but they explain the rolls they make and give quick explanations. I don’t have a lot of first-hand experience with the system, but I feel like I have a basis for an understanding just from listening and doing a quick search of some of the basics.
If you need something new to scratch a Star Wars or RPG itch, or even if you aren’t but just want something fun, this is the podcast to listen to.”
