“I’m trying to learn Spanish without anyone to speak Spanish WITH, so being able to listen to these stories tests my ability to understand it spoken. When I first started listening, it was quite frustrating, but after I got along in my course and listened again, I was stunned to find I could actually follow the stories! I’m very grateful she does this, and after reading her bio I discovered it’s because she came by learning Spanish the hard way too, and she stuck with it. Knowing that she stuck with it and is able to TEACH it gives me some hope that some day I won’t get tongue-tied trying to compliment someone on their cooking.”
