Fun, fabulous frivolity
I’ve been listening from the beginning because I need a good distraction from my regular news podcasts. I heard Ian on Buffering the Vampire Slayer and I’m so glad I checked out Slayerfest. Ian and Mathew host hysterical, thoughtful conversations that don’t take themselves too seriously. I love their dynamic, Ian channels the teenager within me who grew up with Buffy as a part of my identity and is so emotionally involved in the show. Mathew keeps us grounded and the conversation moving! First I listened to all the cast & writer interviews, then I went through and listened to all the episodes in order including the interviews again because they are just that good. The Beer Bad episode is so hysterical, I think I hurt myself laughing. Love this podcast. Thanks for keeping the Buffy conversation going.

Bringing all of the unique voices/perspectives together really elevates the discussion and analysis of this show. I’m enjoying...Read full review »
