A real life saver
I’ve been using this podcast almost since it started and I love it. David has a lovely voice and his cadence is very soothing. It takes me a couple of episodes most nights to drop off but I’m getting far more sleep than without it and I leave it stream8ng overnight so that if I wake up it’s still going and it sends me back to sleep almost instantly. Some reviewers don’t like the long intro but it’s part of the system. Even when it takes more than one episode for me to sleep I’m relaxed and drifting by the end of the intro which is almost as good as actual sleep. The intro is part of a routine once you’re a regular listener. It gets to the point where just hearing the intro triggers your brain to realise it’s time to switch off. The stories themselves are a mix of original stories, mythology, readings, and reviews/recaps of tv shows or films. Personally the reviews are my least favourite but the other episodes are great. Just enough to keep your attention so your brain shuts up but not enough to keep you awake.

Loved the voice. Loved the stories. Can’t remember the ending. Perfect 🙏

My first time listening review is this in a nutshell: Love the quality of his voice but not the quality of the equipment. That being said, we all gotta start somewhere. I will definitely continue to listen.

A really good podcast that does what it says—helps me fall asleep. I like that he uses actual material rather than original stories, which I find distracting. I appreciate this podcast very much. Thank you!!
