“戒名は仏教の一連の儀式の一つで、神道ではないかと思います…。名前を頂くことに対し感謝の気持ちをお金というかたちで表しているのでは。ある意味寄付の精神と同じで、高額お支払いする人もいます。またこの一連の儀式で多かれ少なかれ癒される遺族もいるのではないでしょうか。
また、寄付について、アメリカは税優遇措置があるので日本より盛んなのかと。ただ、寄付文化の根底は貧富の差がベースにあるので必ずしも寄付が発達してることが優れた文化であるわけではないと思いました！”

“Small Talk Japan は3人の掛け合いが素敵です。MCが話題をリードし口調もテンポが良いです。他の男性も控えめですが、いい味を出しています。圧巻は女性。完璧な英語ではないかもしれませんが（失礼！）臆すること無く発言する姿勢にエールを送りたいと思います。オープンな人柄も魅力です。間違いを恐れモタモタ話しがちな一般的な日本人の私からすると、ある意味、彼女は理想です。
Small Talk Kagoshima のオープニングにあった素敵な声のアナウンスがなくなったのが、少し残念です。”
