Professor Schabas is the author of numerous articles and several books, including The Natural Origins of Economics, published in 2005, and A Philosopher’s Economist: Hume and the Rise of Capitalism, co-authored with Carl Wennerlind, and published by University of Chicago Press in 2020. These books, especially the latter book on David Hume, constitute the main topics of the discussion.
