A Wonderful Find
Most of my adult life I have had a hard time turning off my brain and getting back to sleep if I wake in the night. And being a mum of four, I have been awake a lot at night! Then menopause hit and nighttime wakefulness was an even greater struggle, complete with hot flashes and anxiety. Last spring I stumbled upon Snoozecast, and it has been so helpful. I love the variety of stories/essays and the gentle, soothing voices of the narrators. The ads are relevant and non-intrusive. The relaxing cues and spa music at the beginning of each episode help me settle in. The narration slows down and becomes quieter as the episode reaches the end, which I have only ever heard once or twice because I usually fall asleep quickly! I feel blessed to have found this podcast. Thank you!

For the most part the texts used are perfect for nodding off to, but sometimes the content actually makes me perk up to listen more, such as when Robin Hood gets in fights, or Peter Rabbit is chased by Mr. MacGregor. (The treatise on...Read full review »
