SFL Epd #004 - The Face of Addiction
Listen now
Description
If you were asked to close your eyes and think of the word addict, what image would come to mind? Would you suddenly see the homeless man with the greasy beard curled up next to the dumpster? Would you see the "gangster" looking kid with the tattoos arms who you are certain is in the middle of a drug deal? The truth is, the world has placed several stereotypes on those affected with addiction and alcoholism. In this episode, Brent speaks on the different ways that others view addicts and speaks on what we can do to change this trend.
