Mary Elliott is a public historian, alum of Howard University, and museum curator of American Slavery at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Dr. Courtney R. Baker is a specialist on the impact of visual culture in black life. She is an Associate Professor in the department of English at the University of California, Riverside. We discuss the importance of HBCUs and ways it can combat the anti-Critical Race Theory wave. Plus comedians Leah Bomenna and Carolyn Castiglia roast the week's funkiest headlines.
