Host Lida Hujić is joined by a panel of experts for a discussion on how to tackle one of the biggest problems of our time, food waste. The figures may be staggering but we hear direct from the experts on how they intend to combat the issue by presenting their initiatives, and offer solutions to how we can all get involved in reducing food waste and consumption. Featuring; Daisy Fletcher, Development Manager at The Felix Project, a charity that redistributes food that would have otherwise been discarded from supermarkets to food charities; Deepak Ravindran, co-founder of Oddbox, delivering ‘wonky’ fruit and veg and supermarket rejects to homes or businesses; and Saasha Celestial-One, co-founder of OLIO, the surplus food sharing app.
