Thank you!
God has been speaking to me about who I am. As a Filipina-American, we don’t get to be in forefront of things that make an impact. I feel inferior to my friends who are mostly white, black or Hispanic. I try so hard to make something of myself but it seems like it’s never enough. All my life, I’ve had to live this way even when I was growing up in a household of seven kids. Although Filipinos aren’t considered Asians, we have so much heritage, history and upbringing as the “true” Asian communities. I’m so grateful I stumbled onto your podcast as I was reading my daily YouVersion devotionals and came across your video speaking on a verse of the day. My thought was that if you as an Asian-American can speak up about your background and heritage, that I can too. But I’m inspire by all your podcasts and guests. I will continue to listen and wait for new episodes to come out. Yes, I am a Subscriber now! So thank you for allowing God to use your voice to help us through things we struggle in daily as an Asian growing up in a predominantly white culture.

I really appreciate you holding space for this complicated topic and letting us be the experts on adoption. It means so...Read full review »
