Description
Song Recommendation: Awesome God by Rich Mullins. In this message I read the last chapter of the Holy Bible: Revelation 22! Jesus said numerous times that He is coming quickly. As mere humans, we should not count time like God does. God is on His own time. *He gives freely of the Living Water. As a human being we need water to survive. If we don’t have any water our human body dies. The Living Water that Jesus talks about is needed for our eternity with Him in Heaven. Without the Living Water our soul lives on in the lake of fire. The Holy Spirit is our Living Water. We must be born again and come to repentance. He leaves the decision up to each person as to whether we partake of His free gift of salvation, or not partake. We must have faith and belief in Jesus Christ the Son of God. Romans 10:9-10 9 [a]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [b]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, [c]resulting in salvation. Deuteronomy 4:2 2 You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you. Revelation 22:18 18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; The Coming Day of the Lord 2Peter 3:3-9 3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers [a]fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For [b]when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed by being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people. 8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
