“Jimmy Buffett has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. If there was a soundtrack to my life he would be it. My Dad had a cassette on one side Floridays and on the other was Last Mango in Paris and he would play it in his car on the way to my grandparents house on the Bay. I knew all the words by heart. My first time seeing Jimmy was at William & Mary on the Feeding Frenzy it was a life changing experience. I was hooked and I have not looked back since. I have seen him in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. He has always been there for me without even knowing it. I think he has always been there for a lot of people. That’s why when I found out he passed away I felt a huge hole in my heart. It was like a member of my family died or a really close friend. I would watch videos on YouTube and start to tear up. It was hard because I could not talk to anyone about it cause I figured they would think I was crazy. But then I found this show and I realized that I was not alone. And that my feelings were shared with other people. So I wanted to take the time to thank you for this show. It means a lot to have this show to listen as I come to terms with what is going on. I also enjoy the fact that you love ghost stories. I have a paranormal podcast myself and I run a haunted location here in Virginia. I also went to Radford. Anyways I am rambling now so I will stop myself. Thanks for listening and Fins up!!”
