“Great show that provide tons of insight in music production and music tech. The only real gripe: the otherwise brilliant host mr Batt keeps mentioning the fact that he once worked with Will from Goldfrapp which is kind of annoying. Nick Batt is great at what he does and there's no need for the frequent name dropping. No need to validaten one self by talking about some dude who in all honesty isn't that talented.
So for the love of God/Shiva/Allah I beg mr Batt to please tone down a few things: the mentioned Goldfrapp geezer, things that mr Batt find granular (the word is used like 2000 times each podcast in odd contexts) and also, the thing about brits not being able to pronounce Moog properly is, I'm sure no big deal for Moog inc and it's entirely possible to do a review of a Moog product without running the same joke.
My silly gripes aside, best podcast on the planet. I've learned so much from it and I still do so thank you sonicstate for making a grunpy swedes life a little less dull! You guys rock!”
