It used to be a favorite listen
I finally unsubscribed today. After almost 5 years of listening, I just could not take it anymore. The show has been leaning to the Liberal side for at least 2 years. While I can certainly listen to other points of view, I can no longer purposefully subject myself to comments about “the patriarchy”, “white men”, “white privilege”, “feminism”, “putting Elon Musk in his place”, and sly remarks that seem to denigrate traditional Christianity. All this from a show that is really not supposed to be political, and accepting of All Women and All Points of View. I think they are beginning to alienate large swathes of their audience. I stopped listening to “The Popcast” and “What Should I Read Next” for some of the same reasons over a year ago. This was my last holdout, and it makes me sad. By trying so hard to be “inclusive “, the show has succeeded in being “exclusive” to many of its listeners.

I have listened to this podcast from the first week it began. I feel like the co-hosts are my new friends who I get to spend time with each week. I love the positive tone of the show and getting ideas for recipes, books, podcasts and other fun "awesomes".Read full review »
