“I’m sure Carrie means well, but her way of speaking rubs me the wrong way. It’s very slow and makes little sense, like she’s constantly trying to emphasise how profound her own wisdom is (without necessarily having made up her mind about what she’s trying to say). It almost sounds like she is speaking in quotes from every random self help book she could find.. It also oozes privilege - endless time and money to spend on yourself. I think she has somewhat lost touch with reality.”
