S1E5: Riley's story
Listen now
Description
Welcome to Sounds of the Sanctuary - the brand new podcast from Redwings Horse Sanctuary. In this episode you can discover more about the care we provide in the Sanctuary as we share the story of Riley - a hinny who came to Redwings with very challenging behavioural needs, and spent time at our specialist Behaviour as our teams pulled together to ensure he could live a peaceful, stress-free life - a far cry from what he had known.  Meet Senior Veterinary Surgeon Nic De Brauwere as he tells us the steps our veterinary teams took to try and help Riley. Then, Equine Behaviour Manager Sarah tells us how her team, along with the help of two very special donkeys, finally managed to create the perfect environment for Riley.
