Ego and opinions ≠ good science or good podcasting
The presenter is so overflowing with his own sense of self, he is both annoying to listen to, and his mind is so closed to evidence he dismisses some of the most interesting recent developments in astronomy without taking the time to assess them on their merits. Instead of trying to investigate and understand phenomena like Oumuamua and the Proxima signal, he blithely dismisses them, ostensibly because they are being discussed by people he doesn’t like/respect. Instead of looking at the actual phenomena, he spends all of his time engaged in petty, schoolboy taunting. Tiresome and unedifying.
