Dr Nugent, Carrie, Dr Carrie - I don’t even know whether to use all the honorifics because I don’t feel like I’m attending a lecture when I turn on this podcast. It’s more like having that really smart friend who’s unabashedly passionate about geeking out about her work and who invites you to conversations with her work colleagues as they do the same. And they’re all doing cutting edge research in astronomy, astrophysics, planetary science, the list goes on. Plus, she’s willing to take some chances at the front end of the show to try out whatever oddball drinks she can find on the obscure shelves of her local food stores. Gotta admire the risk taking.”
