“When I was in the classroom, this “party” occurred every year. It occurred at the beginning of the year to get the signature that the IEPs were received. There was little to no discussion happening. We should have been doing better!! I needed to be doing it better!! It is important that each teacher knows how to implement the IEP and not just check a box! Thank you for bringing this up as a problem and helping to change the dialogue and processes.”
