Insufferable Host
Like other reviewers have said, Spike is a hugely inconsiderate and narcissistic host who spends more time listening to himself speak than allowing the guest to share their stories and insight. The CJ Wilson episode was the worst in memory - CJ consistently attempted to go in to great stories and had much to say, but Spike continually changed the subject, interrupted him, and finally told his guest not to speak over him. Today’s Bisi Ezerioha episode was the final straw for me - Spike led he and PZ in to a lengthy, crass tangent on robot sex dolls, completely ignoring his guest for several minutes. The ad reads are incredibly intrusive and way too frequent for such a little amount of content. I am a fan of many of Spike’s guests, but the host’s insufferable ego has driven me away many times. Side note - for someone who has spent his entire career riding Seinfeld’s coat tails, his impression of Jerry that he attempts most episodes is god awful.

LAME SHOW... just circle jerk about old Porsche's. And talks with collectors that call themselves car guys but in actuality they hate the car scene in general and only appropriate specific makes.Read full review »

I’ve listened to this since it was launched and over time spike has become more and more of a controlling jerk and it’s becoming annoying. I mostly listen for zuckerman and Matt Farrah now.
