A podcast with chemistry years in the making.
After one episode you can tell that Julia and Amanda have been best friends for a long, long time. There’s a comfortability in Spirits that you cannot find in a podcast network creation or a public radio hour. That comfortability allows natural chemistry, accented by their inebriation. The storytelling, ranging from localized lore to myths that have shaped our fictional narratives, ain’t too shabby either.

I really enjoy this show. While it's not always as informative as I wish it were (sometimes it just turns the corner into silly and doesn't make it back), it's always entertaining.
