Description
All you have to do is to look around at the way we do things in today's modern, consumer-driven world, and how far we've removed ourselves from nature, and you'll realise there's something wrong.Since the discovery of agriculture somewhere between 9,000 and 11,000 years ago, the human race has changed like it never has before. We've gone from a hunter-gatherer society that was primarily mobile and nomadic, to a civilisation that now congregates in enormous cities and barely knows where its food comes from.We think we're advanced. We think we're civilised. We think we've solved every possibly problem. But unfortunately, this current global crisis has shown most of us that there's a lot we still need to master. Either that, or we need more migrate closer to a natural way of living. In this episode, we talk about some of the things we think are wrong with the world, and some simple solutions we see that may be able to make a difference in this world. We talk about a range of subjects from our food system, how we're currently consuming, the battle between the darkness and the light, and so much in between. We've packed in a lot in this short episode, and we hope it makes a difference.Remember, you can add to the conversation by tagging #SIYM on social media, or by sharing this episode around. LEON'S PODCASTING COURSE: http://pod.ax/ SORELLE'S BUNDLE PACK: http://treepack.co/ -----SORELLE ON INSTAGRAM: @sorelleamoreLEON ON INSTAGRAM: @leonthealchemist TIM FERRIS' "4 HOUR WORKWEEK": https://fourhourworkweek.com/
