Description
Latest up from Spoken Label (Author / Artist Podcast) making her debut features Charlotte Wood. Charlotte advises she is a writer of all things spooky, macabre, and downright sinister. Charlotte has been a fan of the horror genre since discovering it at age 13 and has sought it out in all its forms ever since. Charlotte has written many scary short stories throughout her life and Heather (her debut novel) turned into a full-length novel by accident. Heather is the story about Fern and when she moves into a one-bed flat for her second year of university she knows it will be tough to live alone. Then the dreams start. The lifeless face of a girl, an Edwardian school and an old well appear to Fern in her sleep. But who is this girl, and what is she trying to tell Fern? Fern uncovers Heather’s story piece by piece before discovering the horrific way those pieces fit together. Heather is a ghost story spanning 100 years that will keep you guessing till the end.
