A thoroughly enjoyable listen
Whether you're a fan of Siskel and Ebert (RIP x2 plus did anybody even like that Roeper guy?), Statler and Waldorf, Woodward and Bernstein, heck Rogers and Hammerstein for all I care, Abnos and Goldich provide intuitive, searing and often rollicking analysis of the upcoming games. Let Glenn Greenwald inform and subsequently bore you with Brazil's political destablization, Dave Zirin cantankerously lambast the social cost of supercapitalism and Hope Solo educate you about the Zika virus (don't do that last one). Abnos and Goldich are here to discuss the GAMES. Whether it's how to navigate the harrowing course of canoe slalom (and I'm not even talking about the dead bodies that might be in the water), the unique controversies of dressage and the kamikazed frenzy of indoor cycling, Abnos and Goldich are your people. Their analysis is structured, intuitive and the only primer you'll need to impress either your co-workers or second Bumble date because you'll know who Laura Asadauskaite is. Go listen to it. You'll learn more here than anywhere else.

Started with opening ceremony review. Loved how they discussed competitors from varied countries. I love the USA team but there are so many other interesting people trying so hard.

They deliver a morning fix to get me revved up and start live streaming every day. They did their homework and cover all the sports and personalities that make the Olympics, the...Read full review »
