If you like books about spies, espionage, tradecraft and the cold war - get this podcast!
If you like reading and if you like reading spy novels then this is the podcast for you. The podcast is usually about a hour in length. Shane (the host) usually has a guest and the chat is laid back, though it is all about spy books, the settings and the main protagonists. The pace is great and you feel as if you are part of the conversation. From the podcasts, I have learned new information about my favouirte spy authors and heroes. A great consequence is the discussion of new authors including Charles Cumming, Jeremy Duns & Mick Herron. If the authors are reading this then you need to buy Shane a pint, as from the podcasts I have bought your books. So that is my compliment to this podcast.

I came onto this podcast by chance; was doing research for a novel, and there it was. A treasure trove of information on spy fiction, classic and contemporary. I like the tune and consistency. The host is very active seeking out great guests to interview. Great show.

There is no other word for this show than brilliant. Genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter, excellent production values, great interviews and all underpinned by a great Facebook community. If you like espionage fiction (and non-fiction) you will love this.
