“I have been coming here for years with great expectations, but they constantly disappoint. The chef is overrated - just because he learned from the best. But his style is boring and he has a terrible mustache. The service is good, but they can’t make up for the poor main courses (the quarterback of the meal). Every year I hear that this is the year they will take a step forward but I constantly find myself checking down to safer options. Finally, the atmosphere - the fans of the restaurant - are some of the more delusional and obnoxious restaurant-goers I have ever encountered. They have a bit of an inferiority complex towards the clearly superior restaurant down the road - with whom they struggle to compete year after year. Don’t fight it, second place is good too.”
