Welcome to the third episode of our podcast series on the Democratic Republic of Congo, the entirety of which has been researched, produced and edited by TCD Student Maria Salto Galdon. In this episode we look at the features of the Congolese Government, as well as the role that militias and armed groups play in the perpetration of human rights violations in the Congo. We will also be talking to Mariam Sawadogo, Western and Central Africa Coordinator of Frontline Defenders, an organisation that provides support to human rights activists all around the world.
