Praise the standard, Let there be madness
As I embarked on my maidenliness journey after only ever trying DS2 briefly, I found myself in awe of the incredible world I roamed around and wanted to hear about other peoples adventures without having to navigate the heavy spoiler ridden world of YouTube. Stumbling across Standard Edish was exactly what I was looking for and I’d like to thank the entire crew for putting together such an enjoyable show for us newbs. Hearing you all come across the same secrets and areas that I had just visited genuinely gives me butterflies and I found myself going back to see some things that I’d missed, as well as creasing in horror as I hear you miss something I had found. But this is the beauty of the lands between. I’m currently 185 hours into the game with my Strength build at level 152 and can’t wait to hear the rest of the adventure for you all. PS. For any melee builds who want an effective ranged option, I’ve used the ‘Watchdog Staff’ to get me through most of the game. It’s a perfect fake wizard weapon for pure strength builds.
