“I was really excited for season 2 of Beauty Bar after listening to the entire first season. However, the first episode of season 2 fell short of expectations. I started listening to Beauty Bar as a podcast, not as a video series, so it could be enjoyable while going on a walk or doing my skincare routine. However, the majority of episode 1 was focused on visual elements through their TikTok trend segment. As a podcast listener, it was not engaging to simply listen to TikTok audios and then listen to Joan & Stephanie’s reactions as they were trying out the trends themselves. To get the full effect, I felt like I should have been watching the YouTube version.
I really love the energy and excitement that Joan & Stephanie bring to the Beauty Bar, so I hope that future Season 2 episode topics are more relevant for podcasts and do not require visual support. Thanks!”
